On to the Post Season
Thus begins the season of little sleep,
otherwise known as the Red Sox in the post season. Why
can’t NESN still broadcast these games? I will miss Don
and RemDawg.
Pesky’s Number to be Retired
True story – August 31, Johnny Pesky is signing autographs outside the players entrance. Someone hands him a ball that Jerry Remy had signed – Pesky says ‘Remy has a signature like a banker’. My husband says ‘but he doesn’t have a pole named after him Johnny’. Pesky says ‘He couldn’t hit that far’. Johnny Pesky is a hoot!
